China have a lot of tasty food but some takes a bit getting used to, whereas Taiwanese food in general has less seasoning, relying on natural flavors of the ingredient to come thru. Japanese food often time looks better than it actually taste. SE Asian good, my favorite are all curry based but the biggest problem is that most are room temperature, not idea for Taiwanese who are used to pipping hot food.
